Are rooms mixed-nationality or shared by volunteers with different duty blocks?

Yes. Our volunteer community is highly diverse, and it is common for volunteers from different nationalities, cultures, backgrounds, age groups, and volunteering roles to share accommodation.

Similarly, volunteers sharing a room may have different duty blocks and schedules depending on the roles they perform within the hostel. This is a normal part of hostel life and one of the aspects many volunteers enjoy most, as it provides opportunities to meet people from around the world and learn from different experiences and perspectives.

We encourage all volunteers to be respectful of each other's routines, cultural differences, and personal space, helping create a welcoming and inclusive living environment for everyone.
