Can couples volunteer together?

Yes.

If you would like to volunteer with your partner, each person must submit their own application. We also recommend mentioning within your application that you are applying together and would like to volunteer at the same hostel.

Where possible and subject to availability, we will do our best to place both applicants at the same hostel. However, accommodation arrangements remain subject to hostel availability and room configurations.

Please note that volunteer accommodation is generally arranged in single-sex rooms. As a result, couples of different genders would not normally be able to share a room, even if volunteering at the same hostel.
