How long does the application process usually take?

The initial application review process typically takes between 1–3 working days, although this may occasionally take slightly longer during periods of high application volume, public holidays, or other operational demands.

This timeframe covers the period from the submission of your application to the completion of our initial review and verification of your Right to Live in the UK.

Once these checks have been successfully completed, your application will be added to our active volunteer waiting list and considered for suitable opportunities as they become available.

Please note that being added to the waiting list does not necessarily mean a volunteering opportunity will be available immediately, as placement timings depend on role availability, hostel requirements, start dates, and your availability.
