How will I know what is expected of me each day? Will someone supervise or guide me?

Yes. The staff team at the hostel will be there to guide and support you throughout your volunteering journey. They will help clarify duties, explain expectations, provide guidance where needed, and refresh knowledge or procedures whenever necessary.

You will also receive important documents and guidance to support you during your stay, including the Volunteer Agreement, Licence Agreement, and a Volunteer Hostel Induction. These contain useful information about LHA, our internal values, hostel expectations, and day-to-day volunteering guidance.

In addition, volunteers will receive appropriate health and safety guidance and training relevant to their role, helping ensure everyone feels informed, supported, and prepared while volunteering within the hostel environment.
