What facilities are available in volunteer accommodation?

In addition to the room-sharing arrangements and essentials mentioned in the previous question, volunteers have access to the same communal facilities available to residents at their hostel.

Facilities vary between hostels, but may include study rooms, TV lounges, gardens, terraces, gyms, laundry facilities, communal kitchens, and bicycle storage. All of our hostels also provide high-speed Wi-Fi, which volunteers can access throughout their stay.

Where these facilities are available at a particular hostel, volunteers are welcome to use them in the same way as residents, subject to any local hostel rules or opening times.

We encourage volunteers to make the most of these shared spaces, as they are often a great way to relax, study, socialise, and become part of the wider LHA community during their stay.
