What happens if I find another sponsorship opportunity whilst being in the UK and sponsored by LHA?

At LHA, we have had some wonderful success stories of volunteers who came to the UK through our volunteering programme and later secured paid sponsorship opportunities elsewhere.

We see volunteering not only as a way of supporting our charity and community, but also as an opportunity for people to expand their horizons, gain experience, build confidence, and create meaningful connections. You never know what opportunities or relationships may develop during your time with us, including within the wider LHA community itself.

We therefore encourage volunteers to make the most of the experience while contributing with passion and commitment during their stay. If, at some point, you decide to move on to another opportunity, please do give us as much heads-up as possible, but there would be no hard feelings from our side, only appreciation for your contribution and our very best wishes for your future journey.
